Latasha came out of surgery, and the vascular team successfully dealt with the blood clots. However, she had some issues while under anesthesia and is now back on the ventilator.
Also, unfortunately, they did find an infection in both lungs. So now they have to deal with that on top of other complications.
I’d be lying if I said I was okay. I knew it was going to be hard, but damn, one step forward and ten backward is the nature of this cruel, long, and slow rollercoaster. This journey is. It for the faint of heart.
Please continue to pray. This journey will clearly test Latasha’s and my mettle and sanity, as well as those of her family and friends.
We’re all along for this ride. Buckle up. Give your seatbelt a tug and keep your hands and feet inside the ride.
