So this happened today!
Latasha’s physical therapist, Melanie, had her sit up, stay on the side of the bed, stand up, shuffle to her chair, sit down, stand up, sit down, stand up, and march in place. This was all in preparation for walking this week and getting in and out of chairs with limited assistance.
What a great day! Tasha is tired, but she has achieved a huge milestone. As a reward, she got several pieces of a delicious cherry popsicle.
Today will include more rest, therapy, and testing. Until next time, friends.
