A quick update this evening. Today started rough but ended up a good day. Latasha is stable and responds to voices when they wake her for neurology tests.
The day’s non-medical highlight for me as a husband was when the nurse let me hold her hand and talk to her for over two hours. The compassion of the Cleveland Clinic staff is just extraordinary.
As we close the evening, I am more optimistic that her recovery will be back on track. The next major step is the weaning her off the ventilator. The holiday may prolong that by one day but we will see tomorrow.
Thank you for all the support.
