Well, my friends, it has been a very long day of talking with doctor after doctor and waiting.
They just took Tasha back for her fourth surgery.
Tasha had a very long and rough night and day; her vitals were out of balance, so they put in a chest tube, and she lost almost two liters of blood through that. That doesn’t include the blood that’s still in her chest. Yes, you read that correctly: two liters! They have replaced it with several blood and IV fluids units to compensate and keep her blood pressure stable.
The most significant setback is Tasha has a very severe kidney injury, and she will now require dialysis to help her recover.
I wish I had a more witty way to update, but I am tired. Tasha is exhausted, and Tasha’s family is tired.
