Today was long for several reasons, primarily because I had a long to-do list of things to accomplish back in Dayton. It’s a three-hour drive, which burned up some valuable time and caused a lot of stress for me. I missed out on some things today that I would instead have been at, but things have to get done.
Latasha could do some good bedside physical therapy, start some lung breathing therapy exercises, sit in a chair for a short time, and have several drainage tubes removed.
All in all, it was a fantastic day full of a bunch of little wins. We’ll see if tomorrow will be the same, and hopefully, a short stroll through the ICU.
Tasha is in great spirits, and since she has her voice back, albeit weak, we were able to have some good husband and wife time and talk for almost 2.5 hours. I missed talking to my best friend while holding her hand.
Although the road ahead is long and hilly, I feel resolute that there is no more fierce warrior than Tasha. She is going to hit goals and break records in no time.
Tasha is ready to make up for lost time, and I will be right there with her as her co-pilot and partner in adventures.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers.
