Latasha is still holding firm as we end the day and say our good nights before visitor hours end.
She has a fever, so they’re controlling that by packing her with ice and administering Tylenol. Nothing to worry about, according to the nurse. She also has continued bleeding from the chest that they’re dealing with.
Plans for the evening hours will be tweaking recovery medication and breathing treatments to help her new lungs adjust. Also, they’re doing neurological and cognitive tests every 4 hours. The nursing staff said she got every command to correctly move her figures, hands, and legs.
